Pelagic Vortex / Bait Ball
Pelagic Vortex captures the breathtaking precision of a mackerel bait ball frozen at the peak of its spiral defense. Created from gleaming stainless steel, the sculpture assembles hundreds of individual mackerel into one unified, breathing sphere that seems to turn and tighten before your eyes. Mounted high on its pole, the work transforms a fleeting underwater phenomenon into a permanent monument to survival, instinct, and fluid strength. It stands as a meditation on how vulnerability becomes power when movement is synchronized.

Dreamer
Feeling like the beginning of a new chapter in the studio. I’ve always wanted to incorporate wood with my work, not just as an accent, but as an equal voice. Here is piece one of this chapter, where inorganic meets organic.
Dreamer reimagined in cold forged mirror polished accented stainless steel and handmade horns from curly maple with a food grade finish.
